Palawi – A Project by Prabha-Hira Pratishthan ( Duration 2 years)
A Residential home for HIV+ Children and women. Palawi is working in this sector from last 22 years and currently there are 125 children in this shelter where they have good quality of life, education ,self reliance project for their skill development. I have worked there for 2 years as a Head Master & Teacher of Palawi Dyanmandir Primary School and Medical Healt Worker. As a teacher, teaching textbooks, experimenting subjects like science & Technology and geography to HIV-affected orphans in Palawi from class 1st to 10th.
As a health worker, daily check-up of the children in Palawi and
first AID, checking their weight and height every month, creating awareness
among the children about healthy diet, emphasizing the importance of exercise
etc. and taking the children to the hospital when required.
